Jan 2013 – eBrumby now available.

Looking for some extra pedal power in your tandem riding? The new electric option for the Pegasus Brumby may be the answer. The 200W pedal assist power plant replaces the standard rear hub and a 8Ahr bottle battery sits in one of the bidon cage spots. The controller sitting in a small saddle bag provides for 5 power levels which give variable assistance with variable battery load. Even in power level 1 climbing takes significantly less effort. Come out to Hampton for a test ride.

Oct 2012 - Brumby now from $690

Having decided to drop the wholesale option Pegasus Tandems is now selling the Brumby directly at a consequently reduced price. Well priced previously at $940, this new pricing gives cyclists a great opportunity to join the tandem community at a modest introductory price. In 2010 a new Pegasus Duet II was designed, manufactured in Tiawan and made available in August. In January 2011 the Pegasus Brumby , an entry level tandem was imported from China and made available for under $1000. The Pegasus Brumby sets a new Australian benchmark for affordable tandems. Both these new tandems can be made available with variants to suit your requirements.
